Quantum Correlations in Space and Time

657. WE-Heraeus-Seminar

10 Dec - 13 Dec 2017

Where:

Physikzentrum Bad Honnef

Scientific organizers:

Dr. Cornelia Spee • Dr. Ana Cristina Sprotte Costa, U Siegen

The investigation of quantum correlations is not only necessary from a fundamental point of view – to gain a better understanding how correlations can be realized in quantum mechanics – but also serves as a starting point for the development of new applications in quantum information. Various aspects of quantum correlations, such as Bell non-locality, steering, entanglement, and temporal correlations, will be discussed at this seminar. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together people working on these closely related topics and encourage discussions among them. This workshop provides an opportunity for young researches to gain an overview as well as insights into new developments in this area, and the possibility to discuss with experienced researchers from the field.
