For all participants of this seminar - except invited speakers  and chairs  who will receive a separate invitation  - it is required to apply for admittance. Therefore, please express your interest in participating using the application form below. The number of participants is limited to 80.

Please apply as soon as possible – later applications may become even more competitive. Selection of participants is a continuous process starting now and ending at the deadline, Feb. 10, 2024 (keeping at least 8 slots open until the deadline). Selection will be based on the expected quality of the contribution, the balance of topics, and diversity of participants with respect to perspective, career stage, and location.

As part of their efforts to create equal opportunities the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Foundation and the organizers encourage in particular applications of women. 

As a rule, all participants are expected to:

- present a poster and poster flash and thus, submit an abstract

- take active part in the whole meeting, Sunday through Wednesday

For all participants, complimentary on-site and full-board accommodation is provided by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation, and there is no conference fee.

The admittance will be confirmed (or declined) by the Foundation after this deadline at the latest.
