Quantum Science and Technology is a very active and highly funded topic in Europe, the USA and Asia. However, Central America is among the parts of the world where this development is by far not as advanced. The motivation of this school is to spread excitement about this research field and train physics and engineering students and students in neighbouring disciplines with a strong interest in Quantum Science and Technology to contribute to the challenges of quantum research.

Our school will cover the fields of Quantum sensing and quantum metrology, Quantum computing and quantum simulation of many-body physics and molecular quantum physics.

Each day of our 5-day programme will focus on a different topic to allow in-depth discussion:
• Introduction to Quantum Science
• Atoms, Molecules and Rydberg Atoms
• Light Matter Interaction, Quantum Metrology
• Quantum Computing
• Quantum Sensing and Q&A Entrepreneurship

Additionally, plenty of time will be reserved for hands-on teaching formats, a Q&A session on entrepreneurship and in-depth discussions between attending students and leading researches in the field.
